Is White Spindles edible?

Clavaria vermicularis is generally considered edible, but its edibility is often described as 'poor' or 'insignificant' due to its bland taste, brittle texture, and small size. There are no known toxins associated with this species. However, caution is always advised when consuming wild mushrooms. Misidentification with other white coral fungi, some of which may cause mild gastrointestinal upset, is a possibility. Always cook wild mushrooms thoroughly.
